Hello everybody! I am the Money Octopus, James A. Storm (Pen Name). I recently sold my financial advising firm for a variety of reasons, but mainly because through advising many clients over many years into financial wellness and success, I discovered that I love educating and helping people. During my career I have educated via webinars, in-person classes, seminars, and a variety of other mediums. The industry regulators limit education and information because they were afraid of it being misconstrued or taken out of context. That is why you see so little actual registered and licensed financial advisors and other professionals speak freely or openly about finances because they are limited by their companies or regulators.
So, now here I am to write to you all unfiltered with excitement to bring you what I know and what I believe people need to know to be financially literate. I have my MBA in Finance and held all the appropriate licenses and designations needed to provide advice directly. While I no longer can provide advice on an individual basis, I am here to provide education and entertainment.
